Are Moulds a Hazard to my Health?
This is not an easy question to answer - in short, it depends on the type of mould, the amount of mould, the degree to which you are exposed and your own health.

Some moulds are extremely hazardous to health and need professional removal by trained personnel.  So if you are elderly or pregnant, and there is a large amount of unidentified mould in your bedroom then it is almost certainly hazardous to your health and needs removing.  A small amount of mould in the corner of your basement will probably do you no harm.
What Type of Effect Will Mould Have on My Health?
There is increasing concern about the health effects of mould growth and its link to a wide range of symptoms and illnesses including:-.
  • Eye, nose and throat irritation;
  • Coughing and phlegm build-up;

  • Allergic reactions.
  • Aasthma
  • Cot Death in Babies
